Osaka Castle

The Story

It was the Spring of 2014  and the Cherry Blossom trees lined the streets around  Osaka Castle. Peering over the moat, atop the stone wall sat a building called a Yagura (turret). Built in 1620 during the Edo Period for defense & surveillance, It is  now deemed an Important Cultural Asset in Japan.
